Ted Nugent, I Have Two Movie Roles for You!
Gun-toting rocker Ted Nugent told the National Rifle Association convention that if Barack Obama is re-elected, "I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year."
That kind of veiled threat--even if intended hyperbolically--doesn't generally go over too well with the Secret Service, and I bet even Mitt Romney, whom Nugent endorsed not long ago, must be having some icky thoughts about this kind of psycho support.
And Ted hasn't backed down, just telling a radio show that the Obama administration is full of "corrupt monsters" and "communist czars" and that Nancy Pelosi is a subhuman "varmint."
So I have two movie roles for this heavy-metal answer to George Zimmerman, both in sequels.
He can star in White Dog 2, the (imaginary) follow-up to the thriller about a canine trained to attack African Americans on sight.
But let's be fair. Ted never mentioned race in his dislike for Obama. In fact, the rocker described himself as black.
("See, I'm a black Jew at a Nazi-Klan rally . . . because I have the audacity to speak the truth to identify the violations of our government.")
So he'd be better off to star in Joe 2, if they ever do a sequel to the 1970 film with Peter Boyle as a drunken factory worker who wants to take down anyone he feels is different and offensive.
But let me retract those ideas as quickly as I offered them.
I don't want to help Ted Nugent's career in any way!
