The Scariest Screen Villain in History
Who is it? (And don't say Frank Langella as Nixon. He made him almost human.)
For me, the most hair raising nominees are:
Kathy Bates in Misery. Ever since seeing her performance, I run like wildfire from anyone claiming to be my "number one fan." And then I call the police.
Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men. The hairdo alone! Terrifying!
Anthony Perkins in Psycho. Two scary characters in one! And both rather femmy!
Robert Mitchum in The Night of the Hunter. He terrorized more children than Michael Jackson!
I'm leaving out Patty McCormack in The Bad Seed because I always thought attacking people with tap shoes was sort of a neat idea!
