The World Is Really Ending This Time!
I can't stand Chicken Little types who always think the planet is coming to an a tragic end.
To me, their whining only adds to the general unpleasantness and their hot air can be detrimental to foliage.
But after taking a look at today's headlines, I'm convinced not only that the sky is falling, but that it's taking all the birds, planes, and clouds with it.
Here's what's happening in the world:
"Japan's ocean radiation reaches 7.5 million times the legal limit"
"A mysterious, contagious AIDS-like disease is spreading in China"
"After incident, the FAA orders inspection of 737s with many landings"
"Woman attacks Gaugin painting because she thinks it's too gay"
"Three more sets of human remains surface in relation to Long Island serial killer"
And I'm being gentleman enough to leave out the fact that Chris Brown has a number one record and The Kennedys is playing all week on a cable channel a lot of us have.
Could things get any worse?
Is it safe to even leave the house (or turn on the computer) with news this ghastly?
