Welcome to New York
In the next week, New York City will witness an historic and extraordinary upwelling of resistance. Homeless people and veterans, women and union members, students in bandannas and satirists in top hats and rabble-rousers in mouse ears and women in white and men in black will make the streets their stage and the city their canvas. They march against the radical Republican agenda, against the re-nomination of the worst president since Richard Nixon. But they also seek a positive commonality, a community and a progressive way forward.
The truth is, no one knows what the hell is going to happen out there. But you can check this website several times a day, between August 26 and September 2, for on-the-scene interviews, incident reports, commentary, and photos.
