What If You're Talking About Someone Behind Their Back...?
And they suddenly walk in.
Do you just freeze in your tracks and pray the person didn't hear you?
Or do you break the huge block of ice in the air by actually addressing what just happened?
This happened to me twice recently -- and both times I was on the receiving end of the horror!
The first time, the guilty party blurted, "Um, we were just talking about how you don't drink or do drugs and your mind is so incredibly clear!"
I'm so sure.
And the second time, the person came up, "We were just wondering where you were!"
Yeah, uh-huh, tell it to Judge Judy.
Should I be thrilled just to be talked about?
