What Really Happened with Don Hill's Closing?
The Soho rock club -- which was reopened in September by two guys I'll call the Reopeners -- has shuttered after Hill's death, and as Page Six reported, it's now being turned over to developers.
Well, this is what an insider tells me:
"[Reopener] had not paid Don in months, he had not paid the staff, and he had not paid the rent.
"Don was [having a legal battle over] his rent-stabilized apartment.

Don, as you know, collapsed and died of a heart attack.
