When Hygiene Stayed Home: The Creepiest Singer Ever!
In this YouTube treasure, an Egyptian-born singer named Demis Roussos appears on a white platform in a bizarre ritualistic robe that looks like it was purchased on MacDougal Street, but that's actually the aesthetically pleasing part.
The icky part is that, as he floats forward and sings from his gut, Demis's flowing locks meld into his messy beard and his flouncy eyebrows in a way that suggests he's a sort of mid-level Pavarotti by way of Lord of the Rings via Nana Mouskouri's armpit hair.
He's a giant singing furball coughed up from the tomb of Zorba the Greek.
But I like him!
