In the midst of her 2017 tour, the husky-voiced singer-songwriter Norah Jones is playing a one-off charity gig at Brooklyn's Bell House. The intimate concert, which benefits the Child Life Program in the Pediatrics Department of the Brooklyn Hospital Center, is among those in support of last fall's Day Breaks, Jones's sixth studio album. In the context of her prolific career — you may recall a young Jones winning All the Grammys for her breakout 2002 debut, Come Away With Me, and subsequently selling more than fifty million albums — Day Breaks represents a return to the piano-based roots of her early work. The $100 show, tickets for which sold out but are available on the secondary market, will pull from the new release as well as Jones's extensive back catalog.
