Scrolling through the photographer and artist Petra Collins's dreamy, disco-specked Instagram feed can feel a bit like watching a Sophia Coppola film on acid. This Saturday, the world of Collins, who has been described as "Warholian" for her multi-tiered ambitions (she is also a model, essayist, and actress), is in full regalia in an installation of the Museum of Modern Art's ongoing "PopRally" series. A live, three-hour tableau inspired by Lorraine Grady's powerful 1982 essay, "Olympia's Maid: Reclaiming Black Female Subjectivity," is the cynosure of an evening which reclaims the odalisque and champions subversive depictions of the female form. Admission includes a performance by Junglepussy, a digital Instagram salon, a DJ set by Madeline Poole, gallery access, and an open bar.
