Fela Kuti’s song titles aren’t overly cheerful: “Sorrow Tears & Blood,” “Shuffering and Shmiling,” “Zombie.” But Bill T. Jones and his collaborators have sorted through Kuti’s discography, crafting an exuberant celebration of his life and style. The Broadway transfer happily retains the outstanding Sahr Ngaujah, who plays the Afrobeat king.
