Everyday you'll find the 30 wines available by the glass listed on the giant chalkboard next to the bar, along with a menu of snacks and gourmet sandwiches. Oenophiles will find a list divided about equally between New and Old World Wines with a decent selection of local Long Island vintages. Beer nerds will be happy to know that they haven't been left out, with four craft brews on tap and around 11 more available by the bottle. The kitchen puts out shareable plates like lemongrass shrimp skewers and quail eggs on toast with house-cured pancetta. Also on the menu are sandwiches like a duck banh mi and house-cured pastrami sandwich, as well as a variety of meats and cheeses. Sit at the long marble bar, surrounded by gleaming glass and stone tile, or outside on the 30-seat patio. Monday through Friday from 5pm to 7pm, all glasses of wine and beer are $2 off.—Keith Wagstaff
