This might just be any other precious pizza parlor aping the style of Naples, Italy, except for its unusual location in what was until recently a Caribbean and West African neighborhood in Crown Heights?that, and the excellence of its pizza output. The margherita is the flagship, topped with good mozzarella, simple tomato sauce, and a few basil leaves, and exhibiting the perfect char patterns that one wishes for. Imported from Italy, the tile beehive oven is an impressive sight in itself, and the restaurant’s interior is like an amusement park haunted house in layout. Other delectable pies include one made with soppressata and another with long-stemmed artichokes. The list of salads and apps is also mercifully brief, with a high success rate.
