The natural thing to do when opening a wine shop? Open a cheese store right around the corner. Expect plenty of artisan cheeses from small farms from all across the country like Jasper Hill from Vermont and Pleasant Ridge from Wisconsin. If you're having a party they'll even put together a little meat and cheese platter for you. There are plenty of other gourmet items at this little market including charcuterie, olive oil, chocolate and more. The shop is tiny, with orange walls and chalkboards listing the day's cheeses and sandwiches, but it still has a decent take-out menu. Sandwiches are the focus here: hot sandwiches like a Cubano given some Mexican flavor with jalapeños and avocado and cold sandwiches like the turkey cheddar or the Figgy Piggy (prosciutto, fig jam, goat cheese). You can also order several different salads adorned with gourmet meats and cheeses and handmade empanadas.—Keith Wagstaff
