This tiny shoe box of a place offers a commodious dining room upstairs for what is basically a fast-food take on Nepalese food. The real virtue is that the cuisine remains relatively unreconstructed-- full meals called samaybajis are served on cardboard school cafeteria trays, and include a selection of dried meats, toasted soybeans, and pickled root vegetables. Competing with these are Indian-leaning thalis - round metal trays with a big heap of basmati rice with curries, dals, and pickles arranged around the perimeter like moons orbiting an alien planet. Yelpers hate the momos (meat- or potato-stuffed steamed dumplings), but we thought they were pretty good.
