"BLT" may or may not refer to the bacon-bearing sandwich; it's also emphatically not part of the Laurent Tourondel BLT empire. Rather, it's one of a new crop of places in Flushing that offer a nearly unbelievable quantity of food over rice, plus soup, for a fixed $4.50 price ($4.75 with fried rice). The soup is forgettable, but you may treat it as a weak beverage to wash down the other stuff. That other stuff includes your choice of four dishes from among over two dozen on a pristine steam table. Most are in a southern Chinese vein, though there are a few Western and Chinese-American dishes thrown in for good measure. The steamed greens, whole fried fish, stir-fried bean curd, and winter-melon stew are especially memorable, but skip the freezer-burned French fries.
