Formerly Amazing Grace Fish & Chips, this small storefront--which features only a few tables--excels at anything piscine, especially if it"s fried. The three-fillet whiting sandwich is a steal at $3.50, and the other prices are in line with this cheapness. Menu highlights include whole porgies served with chips, various shrimp combinations, and chicken wings that are especially plump, but idiosyncratically sprinkled with Old Bay Seasoning, sending the flavor spinning off in an unexpected direction. Soul Food sides predominate: mac and cheese, collards, and yams being favorites. The dessert course is especially fulsome, including red velvet cake, banana pudding, and (the only thing we didn"t like) a starchy take on peach cobbler.
