This unimaginatively named joint from Klee Brasserie's Daniel Angerer focuses on all sorts of tubed meats inspired by Angerer's homeland of Austria. The narrow, 24-seat restaurant has the look of an upscale hot dog stand: red barstools line up against a thick wooden bar, surrounded by wine racks and nostalgic New York prints. Everything is made in-house with local, organic ingredients and the kitchen even creates 10 of its own mustards, including flavors like candied apple and maple horseradish. The sausages, all served on poppy seed buns, range from gourmet classics like bratwurst and an all-beef wiener, both served with lovage-herbed sauerkraut, to more exotic fare like the French duck sausage (Muscovy duck sausage with a layer of country pate and red wine mustard) and the Dragon Sausage (pork sausage wrapped in kimchi). Yes, you can get a milkshake, but adults will probably gravitate more towards the five local craft beers and 10 international wines, all on tap.—Keith Wagstaff
