This glatt kosher establishment takes its inspiration from Moroccan cooking, though the result ends up being far removed from the original. We particularly liked the chicken tajine, scented with green olives and lemon peel, hugely portioned even without its accompanying bowl of delectable vegetable couscous (also available as an entrée). But the barbecued ribs tasted cloyingly of barbecue sauce, and the appetizers were hit-or-miss: The smoky hummus, grape leaves, and bread were tasty enough, while the stuffed portobello mushroom was revolting. The relaxing multi-level space features a busy decor that recalls a showroom at ABC Carpet.
