While the fish on the façade might lead you to believe this is a seafood restaurant, it's really just a normal Turkish restaurant, not really favoring fish over meat. The room is large and commodious, and Turkish men sit at trestle tables partying late into the evening, stopping only to go outside en masse for cigarettes. Speaking of cigarettes, the sigara bouregi (cigar boureks) are totally top notch--flaky pastry flutes oozing feta cheese. Anything featuring eggplant, including a series of dips, are also desirable. Not gainsaying the sign outside, the fish called cipura (aka royal dorado) is often excellent (choose fried rather than grilled). The adana kebab has been only so-so, which is why you should order it swaddled in garlicky yogurt.
