Parathas are cooked to order at this little Indian snack shop on Lexington Avenue, where nothing on the menu is more than $10. A few chaats are available, like a bhel puri of puffed rice and crispy sev, which you should eat immediately, before the crispy bits get soaked through with tamarind and green chutney. Customize a roll and head downstairs to the little white dining room that's been bedazzled with giant rhinestones and paisleys, where a rose wilts on every table and Bollywood music plays loudly in the background.
