Formerly known by the more poetic Clay Oven of India, this lunch counter is strictly vegetarian and mainly vegan, offering the meatless half of the Mogul (Northern Indian) menu. For the time being, the steam table flaunts six perfect dishes, but the counter guy promised "more than 50 in the near future." The mattar paneer was so loaded with chunks of fresh cheese that the peas played second fiddle, while the okra was made with the fresh product-the pods were not obliterated by overcooking. And the three-dishes-over-rice platter is a great deal, whether you're usually a meat eater or not.
