Who wouldn't get hungry after a few contentious games of ping pong? Chefs Will Horowitz and Michael Cecere helm the kitchen of this small restaurant located inside boozy table tennis club SPiN, where they turn out appropriately casual finger food with global influences. Most of the menu is made up of sandwiches such as Cubanos stuffed with Berkshire pork and Philly cheesesteaks made with balsamic-marinated hanger steak. There are other handheld dishes as well: Korean-style tacos, sliders on potato buns that come smothered in things like green curry and guacamole, and lettuce wraps packed with crab. Popcorn is also big here, dusted with everything from jalapeno and cheddar to foie gras and truffles. The layout is pretty wide open, meaning you can order food while in the middle of an intense game of ping pong or while sitting in the pop art-decorated lounge, all the while taking advantage of the full bar and six beers on tap.—Keith Wagstaff
