This corner slice joint serves exactly what it promises: hot pizza and kebabs, plus plenty more. A lot of its business comes from take-out orders from bar-hoppers going out in the East Village, although you can eat in if you want. It's not fancy, but it will do in a pinch; green formica tables, a glass counter containing a variety of pizzas and small fridge filled with sodas and sports drinks. All of the regular toppings are available along with specialty pizzas like the Philly Cheesesteak (roasted peppers, steak, white American cheese) and the Meat Lover (pepperoni, sausage and meatballs). Kebab sandwiches match cubes of lamb, beef and chicken with a pile of veggies, while you can also get your kebabs served on skewers with a side of rice or French fries. Also on offer are burgers, hearty Italian heroes, salads, Buffalo wings, calzones and Italian classics like baked ziti and lasagna.—Keith Wagstaff
