If you're looking for quirky, innovative sushi rolls, you've come to the right place. Eel, banana and ? peanut butter? That would be the Rocco, joined on the menu by other oddball creations like the S&M (spicy mango shrimp with tobiko) and the Happy (broiled salmon with cream cheese). Not that everything on the sushi menu is unconventional; you can still get your standard spicy tuna and California rolls or choose from several sushi combination meals. There are a few other options if you aren't into sushi including udon noodles and beef, chicken and salmon prepared in a teriyaki, ginger or black pepper sauce. A fairly extensive sake menu is available along with several Japanese beers. The atmosphere is fairly casual, with red paper lanterns hanging over the brightly lit dining room, a narrow space outfitted with black tables and a long sushi bar in back.—Keith Wagstaff
