Golden Cadillac

13 First Ave.
Los Angeles, NY 10003

It's like walking into American Hustle if American Hustle was a bar. The deep red, orange, and brown hues of Golden Cadillac can't get anymore referential to New York in the 1970s. Neither can the tableside fondu pots. Admire the selection of vintage Playboys lining the walls while you enjoy $8 Long Island Iced Tea happy hours in this tacky-chic Lower East Side joint. Disco fries and the BQE mini hotdog trio make this a gastropub of the highest order. It's close to the 2nd Avenue F train and Essex Street J and M for easy access from Williamsburg (which, let's face it, is probably where the most nostalgia-hungry crowds are coming from). With the Landmark Sunshine Cinema right across the street, it's an ideal post-movie drink spot.
