Look hard, because you cannot touch. Gramercy Park remains the only private park in the city. Washington Irving, Stanford White and O. Henry were all regulars here. So you canat go in the park, but you really want to rub shoulders with those people anyway? Just go to Peteas Tavern, which may or may not be the oldest saloon in the city, and have a drink or five.
