A casual slice joint that's a little nicer than most, Iggy's serves up hot pizza along with a nice selection of Italian-American standards. The space is larger than most hole-in-the-wall pizza places with 32 seats centered around polished wooden tables, old black-and-white photos of Italy and a large map of Sicily hanging from the walls. Order by the slice or whole pie, including special pies like the Iggy¹s (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and mozzarella) of Buffalo chicken, or try one of the fat Sicilian slices or thin grandma slices. Pastas, including penne alla vodka and rigatoni Bolognese, are available along with hot Italian sandwiches, Panini and calzones. Sadly, the restaurant is still awaiting its beer and wine license; until then, grab one of the Boylan sodas in the fridge or get amped up with a caffeinated Manhattan Special. The place fills up late on Friday and Saturday nights when it's open until 2am.—Keith Wagstaff
