No one knows what happened to Kebab House #1, or if it ever existed, but this ostensible second location of the Turkish kebab joint is a fine pit stop for a snack or a meal. The adana kebab sandwich is the one to get--wrapped in a big flat pita rather than repulsive pocket pita, and made with ground lamb ramified with red bell peppers and onions. It grills up sweet and smoky over the gas-fired grill. Vegetarians will find many satisfying sandwich stuffings, including falafel, pureed eggplant salad, stewed green beans ("lobia"), and stuffed vine leaves. Among bigger and more expensive feeds, the yogurt-soaked iskender kebab is a neighborhood favorite.
