It's all about kebabs at this Upper East Side Turkish restaurant, especially on Mondays when you can get any of the 10 hearty kebabs (including spicy ground lamb, chopped chicken, grilled shrimp and more) for only $10. Just as popular are the pide, crackly Turkish bread topped with ingredients like ground lamb and cheese, which are cooked in a wood-fired oven. Entrees like lamb chops and grilled whole branzino fill out the rest of the menu. The wine list is a treat, mostly because it features many hard-to-find Turkish wines, along with a small selection of California and European wines, with most bottles ringing in at under $40. Rows of windowed doors open to street provide a breezy atmosphere, complemented by a large Mediterranean seaside painting and ionic columns. In warm weather the restaurant puts out a handful of sidewalk tables. Note to couch potatoes: Delivery in the area is free with a minimum order of $20.—Keith Wagstaff
