This pizzeria with a very Italian vibe occupies a pair of storefronts and has never quite gotten its due. No. 28 is another of those place that claims to be serving the True Pie of Naples, and even though they fall farther from the prototype than most, the pizza is often damn good, and not a bad deal, either. Pies are available in three sizes, and even the smallest can easily feed a couple of people. Salads look expensive, but once again the servings are communal. Of the 18 pies and 2 weirdo inventions, pick the simpler ones for maximum satisfaction: the margherita original (#2) is our favorite so far, but the diavola (#11, hot soppressata, red chiles, and mozzarella) is also a great choice. Wine list not bad and not too expensive.
