This first city branch of a Mineola institution specializes in hamburgers made out of diverse substances, and you can order turkey, lamb, veggie, or bison in additional to the usual beef. Freestyle with these patties, specifying type of bun, sauce, and topping, or select preordained combinations that have international themes. The Buenos Aires burger features chimichurri sauce; the Hawaii, pineapple and bacon (no ham?); and the Switzerland, two types of cheeses. Unfortunately, the place tends to overcook its burgers, and the fries are none to great (they’re starch-coated), but if you happen to be proximate and in the mood for a burger, this P.S. will fill you up fairly cheaply. You can also get a hot dog or a salad featuring meat.
