Radio City Music Hall

1260 Sixth Ave.
New York, NY 10020
Claiming fame as the largest indoor theater in the world, this stage (a spry 77 years young) still makes pyrotechnics and water effects seem like a breeze. A luxe mix of highbrow and, um, less so-Leonard Cohen one week, Flight of the Conchords the next-keeps the opulent hall fresh and relevant. John D. Rockefeller, Jr., developed it on land leased from Columbia University; now that's a brilliant investment.
