The technical glitches in consulting chef Anita Lo's dumplings have subsided, and both the steamed and fried versions are now well formed and cooked in a satisfactory manner. The crowds, too, have thinned, so it's now possible to find a chair and plop down comfortably to savor any of the dumplings (duck, shrimp, chicken, pork, or vegetable) by themselves, or immersed in soups that sometimes complement them, sometimes not. While the dumplings are about five times more expensive than their Chinatown counterparts, the ambiance and diversity of fillings may justify the price. Love that green-tea milk shake!
