Pick this Midwood Turk and enjoy the bizarre wall-sized mural (bigger-than-life tents, camels, and belly-dancers) in addition to some of the best kebabs in town. Our favorite is the beyti kebab-lamb with sweet and hot red peppers chopped using an ancient method featuring a chef brandishing a dangerous knife in each hand. The meze (mainly vegetarian appetizers) are fresh and well prepared, and even the charcoal-grilled poultry is still moist and flavorful. Formerly known as Sahara Palace, it's one of the top Turks in town, and considerably cheaper than most.
