Marc Buzzio's family has been producing Northern Italian charcuterie for generations, never changing their old-school method: good meat, salt, and long curing time. From the outside, you wouldn't guess that this generic-looking steam-table spot harbors Buzzio's handcrafted salami, soprassata, coppa, and proscuitto, all of it made from heirloom Berkshire hogs. Piled on a hero, that homemade porky goodness is a rare thing of beauty--full of the low, mellow funk of well-aged meat. You can also buy homemade fresh sausages to cook at home.
