Sausage Inc. wisely sticks to its namesake product, with
four to six available on any given day. The outsize links are grilled over flame behind a window as you watch, allowing you to completely control the fate of your sausage by hand signals if the narrow place isn't too crowded. Previously, it was a Dutch-owned Asian noodle shop. The "artisan hot dog" is by far the best choice, and you've probably never had such a wonderful weenie, even at Bark. Of the other sausages, which tend to be uneven in quality, the one we liked best was the Farmer, a beef and bacon contraption that was nevertheless a little lumpy. All sausages come on a pretzel roll with sautéed onions, and there are lots of free condiments to choose from.
