This fascinating establishment is the city's only Muslim Thai restaurant, founded by a family from Bangkok. On a practical level, this means that all meat is halal and no pork is served, and this may be the only Thai place in town serving goat. There are also several dishes you won't find elsewhere, including a delectable sweet-and-sour curry called sma go reng, possibly Malaysian in origin. Not everything accrues to the positive side of the ledger, however-the red curry could be mistaken for bottled French dressing, and the menu is too big for the cook to do everything well. The noodles are particularly recommended.
