This restaurant and walk-up taco window came in second place in our taco crawl of Roosevelt Avenue, which encompassed all the taco-serving establishments between Flushing Meadows and Jackson Heights. Open 24 hours, the well-lit and extravagantly windowed cafe in the evenings pushes a gas grill outside on which sizzles a mound of pork al pastor, used to fabricate delicious little Mexico City-style taquitos, with onions and cilantro and your choice of fiery dab-ons. Other tacos available inside, but you won't get that far.
