The Jeffrey

311 E. 60th St.
New York, NY 10022

  • Mon-Fri 6am-2am, Sat-Sun 9am-2am
The Jeffrey is one of those pedagogical bars that wants to teach you something, namely about craft beer and spirits. This is not necessarily as irritating as it sounds, especially when the bar in question cultivates a real knowledge on the subject like this one does. Nestled under the Queensboro Bridge, this is an Upper East Side installment from the team that brought The Alewife to LIC. During the day The Jeffrey multi-tasks as an espresso bar, but come noon you can drop in for one of the 30 carefully curated and hard-to-find rotating drafts. For those who can't choose, the tasting bar offers a well-rounded flight.
