Perhaps Malcolm Lowry could explain the mixed-up hotel-lounge-gone-cantina environs at this Murray Hill after-work joint. Named after one of his novels, this bar attracts office-working midtowners with a literary bent. Patrons come for conversation and the great selection of tequilas (more than 40), gins (nearly 10), and beers (20). Mind that youall find no TVs here. Donat pass up the bar nibbles: Guac or tamales go oh so well with that salty margarita.
