Altman Building

135 W. 18th St. New York, NY 10011 | Flatiron | 212-741-3400

Location Description:

It's difficult to describe exactly what the Altman Building looks like, because its appearance changes drastically for each event. The landmark building, built in 1896 originally as a carriage house for the B. Altman department store, was renovated in 1998. The 10,000-square-foot space, with ash wooden floors and a vaulted brick ceiling (plus additional gallery space downstairs) is now a favorite spot for Fashion Week shows, corporate banquets, and nonprofit fundraisers.
