Baryshnikov Arts Center, Howard Gilman Performance Space

450 W. 37th St., Suite 501 New York, NY 10018 | Garment District | 646-731-3200

Location Description:

Mikhail Baryshnikov's multi-disciplinary art conglomerate contains the 136-seat Howard Gilman Performance Space, as well as the 238-seat Jerome Robbins Theater and four studios. Opened in 2005, it provides a venue for performance art of all kinds, as well as affordably priced performances. Located in Hudson Yards, that previously dismal purgatory near Tenth Ave. between Penn Station and Port Authority Bus Terminal. That said—the transit centric location makes for very easy access, and recent, rapid gentrification in the area means an abundance of commercial restaurants nearby. High Line Park access is just a few blocks south.
