Cafe Wha?

115 Macdougal St. New York, NY 10012 | Greenwich Village | 212-254-3706

Location Description:

Ah, the historic Cafe Wha? This is the place where many a tourist (and/or blossoming NYU freshman) has historically come to spend his or her nights (and $10-12 on the cover charge). Yes, a mixed crowd perpetually piles into perpetually packed Wha?, usually upon learning that the establishment once hosted Jimi Hendrix, the Boss, and Bob Dylan (though the latter only played at the spot's previous location next door). Pleasantly enough, an in-house cover band awaits inside, delivering live renditions of songs by Bands That We Can All Agree On, ranging from the Beatles to Radiohead.
