511 Myrtle Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11205 | Brooklyn | 718-398-1459

Location Description:

Food beacon in a neighborhood with few good places to eat, Castro's is probably the oldest real Mexican restaurant in Brooklyn, unless you count the tequila bars of Bensonhurst and Bay Ridge. The menu combines Tex-Mex and Pueblan specialties, and it's one of the few places in town you can get the fiery stew known as tinga.
