Growing up in NYCâ€™s world-famous Chinatown, and its plethora of bakeries, restaurants, and well, more bakeries and restaurants, we thought to ourselves: where's the flair and creativity Chinatown? Armed with our love for food and the influence of NYC's melting pot of cultures, we set out on a journey to create a new and fresh take on a rapidly growing American favorite â€“ the burrito. What we came up with is unconventional, yes.. different, yes... crazy, maybe... but when we took a bite out of that burrito stuffed with grilled teriyaki chicken, all we knew was it tasted good. So then came the Korean BBQ short rib, the Chinese BBQ pork, the braised duck & finally TOFU (yes, it surprised us too). With the help of a couple of our friends, creative and innovative chefs from around the NYC area, we experimented with flavors, textures, and recipes until they were perfect. There are thousands more Asian flavors and ingredients to play around with, weâ€™re just getting started. Some call us crazy (maybe we are...) but hey, it tastes pretty good. Just try it.
