Location Description:

Posing as a humble neighborhood pizza parlor, this Flatbush Avenue favorite is really an ambitious Italian restaurant-though you can never go wrong ordering the exemplary wood-oven pizzas. Our favorite, from a constantly shifting roster, is gobbed with green garlic pesto, inspired by a farmers' market allium gone by midsummer, but the regular pies featuring good tomatoes and even better mozzarella are constants. Other triumphs not always available include homemade soppressata, Roman spaghetti cacio e pepe, and a crostino of tuna roe, chopped egg, and lovage.
