The welcoming tiny space is encircled with delicate metalwork screens. The Ghenet combination for four is a ridiculously good deal, allowing you to sample almost everything on the menu-all the vegetarian dishes, as well as doro watt (spiced chicken stew), and sega watt (spiced beef stew) and a few other meaty dishes. The assortment arrives on a humongous plate, with injera layered below and also served on the side. It's all earthy, hearty and satisfying. The doro watt is wonderful -- bone-in chicken cooked in a thick, darkly spiced sauce with a boiled egg alongside. And the vegetarian dishes are equally good. We particularly like the earthy, lemony collard greens, the stewed red lentils and the cabbage and potatoes.
