This “House of Chicken” is one of the premiere Peruvian rotisseries that Queens is famous for, utilitarian places specializing in bargain-priced plates of food so large, you’ll need a friend to finish them. At the heart of the menu is a spice-rubbed roast chicken (some say the spice combination was inspired by Chinese immigrants to the mountain nation) accompanied by a green chile sauce, but roast spare ribs and pork are other estimable specialties. These are available in combinations, all less than $10, along with yellow rice, boiled potatoes, red beans, and salad. Other Peruvian standards such as lomo saltado, fried fish, and South American-style chop suey are also worth checking out.
