The menu at Persepolis, named after the capital of ancient Persia, is disappointingly kebab heavy. And although they're as perfectly prepared as any in the city, that shouldn't prevent you from trying uniquely Iranian dishes like ghormeh sabzi, a slurry of spinach, kidney beans, lettuce, parsley, and scallions flavored with dried lemons and vinegar, making it doubly tart. A choice of four types of rice comes with your meal, the most curious being sour cherry. Rosewater ice cream makes an interesting conclusion, although one friend likened it to eating frozen dish detergent.
