The food quality hasn't declined one bit since this Hell's Kitchen staple moved to Chelsea. The emphasis is still on chicken in its various soul food and Caribbean manifestations, including, on a typical day, fried chicken, jerk chicken, smothered chicken, curried chicken, chicken and dumplings, barbecued chicken, and baked chicken, with the fried and chicken and dumplings preferred. A wealth of sides provides accompaniment, of which the mac and cheese is downright good, while the collards are a little too vinegary for our taste. The cornbread is as fine as cake.
